 I made this scarf using an entire skein of yarn I picked up from a thrift shop. Although it's a heavier yarn, it's still not thick enough for a Wisconsin winter. It'll keep me warm enough in the lecture halls though. Experiment with other types of yarn for different effects.
Materials -1 skein worsted weight yarn -size 13 US needles
Instructions Cast on 15 sts. K two rows. [K 2, K 2 tog, yo, K 2, K 2 tog, yo, K 2, K 2 tog, yo, K 3, turn K 4, K 2 tog, yo, K 2, K 2 tog, yo, K 5] repeat pattern within brackets using entire skein, leaving 1 foot of yarn left to finish with K two rows Bind off Finish |
